Due date is 9.29.14. Just wondering if anyone else out there is here in Austin, TX. Would be awesome to even find some folks who go the offices I use (Austin Area Ob-Gyn).
Hello hello! I'm in San Diego until July and then I'll be in Austin. I'm actually looking into doctors in the area and would love suggestions since I'll be moving mid pregnancy..
Almost the same due date, Tiffklin! I am at Austin Area ObGyn with Dr. Seeker and will deliver at St. David's. Ties in with your question kirstynikole--I highly recommend AAO, Seeker is top-rated in the city, and everyone in the practice is great. Lots of great doctors in the area--the benefit of a nearby university as well as a rapidly growing metro area!
PS--And this is our very first baby Early sono guess from the tech was 85% sure a boy, but we are waiting on the panorama blood test to come back...any day now actually, it's driving me mad, the wait!
I'm originally from Austin, but don't live there anymore. I have nothing to offer regarding hospitals, but just wanted to chime in. I haven't really built up my social circle where I live now, and most of my friends are back in Austin. Being a FTM, I really miss being able to share this experience with all my girlfriends back in ATX, so this thread made me smile.
I delivered our first daughter at seton on 38th, September 25, 2012! Now almost exactly 2 years later I am due September 28, 2014 (the exact same due date as my daughter)!!!!!! I love women partners in health and seton hospital! Highly recommend!
BFP #1 August 2011 EDD: May 14, 2012. Lost at 11 weeks on October 25, 2011.
Hi Larbeadles! I am in Austin--12.5 weeks pregnant with my first baby. I was wondering where you had the Panorama blood test done? My doctor does not do that and I really want to find out the gender before 18 weeks! Thank you

@toby122 Don't know if you noticed, but this is the birth month board for ladies due in September... if you are only 12.5 weeks pregnant, I think it's safe to say you aren't due in September, unless you're just having a short term baby (It's Always Sunny, anyone?)
I'm guessing she searched with keywords that led her here and didn't really notice what board it was posted on.
Hey, @toby122. Panorama is not for impatient twats who cannot handle waiting a few more weeks to find out baby's sex. Research what the test is actually for, and be very thankful it is not a test your doctor is insisting you have.
Re: Any other Austin, TX, moms here in the Sept. 2014 board???
Is this your first?
I love women partners in health and seton hospital! Highly recommend!
And we have an "I can't wait to find out the sex of my baby post" again guys!!!!!
Not sex, she wants to find out the gender. ;-) (I don't really care about that terminology debate but I know some of you do.)
