I can't tolerate the juice, so I am testing my blood sugar with a monitor for a week 4 times a day. My fasting/morning blood sugar is always slightly elevated by a few numbers. But my after meals are always good; well below the guideline maximum. Can this be a sign a diabetes if its supposed to be a fasting blood sugar, or is it just something about my body when I sleep?
Re: Using the glucose monitor instead of juice. Strange results
LFAF Summer 2016 Awards:
One hour after first bite 130
Two hours after first bite should be 120
This is gestational diabetic standards.
Your doctor sometimes will change the requirements for what they want so you will have to ask them.
Typically one or two numbers over won't mean GD but they determine that and fasting is hardest to control
@starla487 sorry I can't tell if you are backing me up or being sarcastic
