We have always held DD for some naps/bedtime to fall asleep. Routine has been pacifier and blanket by her face while we hold her. Some naps she falls asleep on her own in the crib, so that's no problem.
The last few days, when we lay down, she instantly starts screaming and fighting the pacifier. I think she knows I am trying to get her to sleep, and she has no time for that! So, I am forced to put her in her crib to fall asleep on her own, which she does after 10-15 minutes of fussing.
Anyone else had this come up at this age? Maybe she just needs to be alone to fall asleep? No real point to this post, just wondering if my days of cuddling my girl to sleep are over?
