Re: ***Early Sunday Ticker Change Check In***
November 9th - 23 weeks - grapefruit
How are you feeling (symptoms/cravings etc.):
I had a little morning sickness this week which was strange because I have been fine since about 15 weeks or so. More and more movements which is amazing and constant hunger.
Any milestones or upcoming/recent appointments:
Reaching 24 weeks next week will be a big milestone. I don't have an appointment until 25 weeks.
Thoughts/vents:
A very generous family member purchased our Britax travel system stroller this week. That's our first baby gear item. It's getting more and more real but of course scary at the same time. I keep telling myself that getting stuff for our son isn't going to jinx it but of course it's hard to stop those thoughts. We have waited so long to experience this part of pregnancy so I am really trying to not let my fear ruin that for us.
QOTW: What are three random facts about you that we might not know already?
1. I am a lefty and I am completely useless with my right hand.
2. When I was younger my family moved 9 times in 6 years all locally. I hate packing as a result and especially moving. It's nice to be stable now.
3. When I was a kid I was afraid of everything including highways because they were noisy, clowns, heights, dogs and just about everything else. We even had a small fluff dog and I was scared of him at first but getting him helped a ton and now I can't imagine my life without my own dog. I've come a long way for sure with my fears but it's painful to watch old family movies because I was such a fearful kid.
How are you feeling (symptoms/cravings etc.): still having a bit of morning sickness, and I'm still extremely tired all day long... can't wait for my energy to come back.
Any milestones or upcoming/recent appointments: nothing until the 28th.
Thoughts/vents: I can't believe I'm nearly out of the first trimester!
QOTW: What are three random facts about you that we might not know already?
1. I used to be an ice skater
2. I owned my own dance studio when I was 18 - the same age I was when I got married
3. I currently own my own photography business.
It's my EDD today (ha ha -- as my 2-weeker sleeps next to me) so I just wanted to check in and say hi to all of you and wish you luck and health with the rest of your pregnancies! Looking forward to seeing you on PAL in a bit.

How are you feeling (symptoms/cravings etc.):
So much nausea and I can't come up with anything to eat. I'm also having alot of cramping/abdominal pain. I think its a combination of my intestines and scar tissue. I hope so anyway. Oh, and fatigue. Tons of fatigue.
Any milestones or upcoming/recent appointments:
Wednesday is my first ultrasound.
Thoughts/vents:
I am so, so scared this weekend. The cramping and pains are not helping. I just need to get to Wednesday and hear that heartbeat. (Please, God.)
QOTW: What are three random facts about you that we might not know already?
1. I'm a sixth generation Floridian, which is really pretty rare.
2. I quilt. Or, at least I do when I can stay awake.
3. I have not been able to find a book that holds my interest since getting pregnant this time. I'm baffled by this, because I'm a huge reader normally.
