Its a selective thing...

in TTC After a Loss

Since we're hypothesizing about what the joys of a January BFP would bring, I've decided that IF I get my BFP on Sunday then I will go to my slut-@ss cousins 2nd baby shower (which is that afternoon). ?

Being the bigger person is purely selective, and I will only subject myself to her completely unnecessary and decidedly inappropriate shower if I too am knocked up.

    Heh I like the logic.  I had to drag myself on the day I would have been at 12 weeks but 14 days after my d&c to the baby shower for my very close friend who is pg with her (ready for this) her husband's girlfriend's fiance's baby.  OH YEAH call Jerry!  Dont try to do the math on your own, your brain might explode. Suffice it to say partner swapping doesnt always work out the way you plan for it to!  To top it off, it was at her friends house and I took DH and the step kids-the house was so disgusting I considered calling DCFS to come get her kids out of that filth when we left.  It was the single most ridiculous event I have ever been to in my life.

    That sounds fair to me! I refused to go to a cousin's shower over the weekend if I didn't get my BFP.  I didn't get it (because I haven't even O'ed yet) so I didn't go!

    I have to go to my cousin's baby shower on Saturday (baby daddy was/is in jail?) and unfortunately that's too early for me to test, but I like your logic and really hope you get your BFP!

    I seriously need to meet these people and listen to their story. It would be a helluva good time!

    Oh my word.  Are they still partner-swapping, or is her husband going to have to change the nappies himself?
