The amount of products online is so overwhelming.:. I breasted my lo who is now 2, but this is a whole different situation... Il be working and want an electric pump that's discreet and quiet, and I guess all the bottles and accessories have to be the same brand as the pump? All the while I still want to use some bottles with a latch nipple! I'm becoming frustrated with my search could somebody point me in the right direction!:(

    I know there was a previous post about pumps where a lot of people loved the Medela. I personally used the Avent double breast pump with DS and used it at work; it was quiet and got the job done. I liked it because you could adjust the pump speed when you first started every time. I also found that my son didn't like the Avent bottles so I would just pump into those, use storage bags, and we found the bottle he did like and used those for feedings.

    Try the specialty Breast Feeding board - lots of good tips over there.  

    I also think you can pump into one container, and then transfer the breast milk into any style bottle you choose, but I may be totally wrong on this.

    First see if your insurance covers it and what brands. Then choose between those.

    Medela PISA is awesome. I actually had someone give me some Gerber bottles that fit the pump as well. Anything that you pump into can be transferred to another bottle for feeding if you wish.

    Your insurance should be able to offer you a pump under the affordable healthcare act. With united, we get the medela pump in style. I think kellymom.com is a good breastfeeding resource.
