*** Thanks so much @Kflynn81 for running this check in and doing such a great job. I have big shoes to fill ladies and hope that I can do a good job for you all! While I have learned a lot about IF from dealing with my RE since November I still am learning more and more everyday so I appreciate the help and patience. Much love to you ladies. ***

This is the weekly check-in for TTCALers who are also dealing with infertility. If you'd like to join us please feel free to intro with your diagnosis and history. We've had a few extra challenges thrown at us, ladies. Come here for snuggles from people who get what you're dealing with.

Fill us in, along with any other updates or vents you need to get out, TTCAL or NonTTCAL related.

If you get a BFP, please PM me and let me know. I try to lurk on PgAL often, but sometimes it’s tough.

@alicia_r1 How are stims going? Did you have to adjust your meds?

AFM: antral follicle count was 11. I know that isn't great, but typical of a women with my low AMH. I am currently on BCP and have my SSH next Wednesday and I think they are doing the mock transfer at the same time. After they get the results of my pre IVF blood work and SSH the doctors will meet to discuss which protocol they are going to put me on. Meds will start around 8/9 and ER will be around 8/18.

QOTW: I am a secretly EXCELLENT hula hooper!!

That s great that everything is moving along for you. I will be thinking of you Wednesday during your SSH! Is the plan to try a fresh transfer depending how the PGD goes? I'm glad you were able to adjust your August schedule to make this all possible for you.

Awesome talent! I don't think I ever could hula hoop well. I was never the most coordinated lol.

Morning Lovelies,

I am just hanging out at 12dpiui. Convincing myself to hold out another 5 to wait for beta, debating if I should test early anyway. I just really don't want to see a bfn. I have some symptoms but I think they're all just from progesterone (especially since they started 5dpiui after I had been on progesterone haha, so I know that for sure at that point they were all med related). So at least today I wait.

We're going up to the lake today so that will be a nice distraction to enjoy the sunshine! It is supposed to be cool next week so I want to enjoy it while we can.

QOTW: I am really good at remembering dates. Appt dates, birthdays, anniversaries, etc. generally someone tells me once and I remember forever.

My week is going well. My EDD is approaching and I don't know how I will feel about that. I don't really want to face my EDD. I had my cd 10 ultrasound yesterday and I have to follies one is 18 and the other is 13 (I think). I have to go back tomorrow for another u/s. Hopefully both follicles will release to increase my chances. Not sure how much longer I can pay for the Bravelle OOP.

QOTW: I can't think of any special talents.

Follicle scan was yesterday, one on the right measuring 13 so I am waiting until Monday to trigger with iui on Wednesday. I was hoping for better but I guess I will still take it. Still pretty nervous about this iui, but hopefully all will be well!

Thanks for the positive vibes @TVLily‌! I'm doing better with the whole thing today. I had my first depot Lupron injection yesterday....... Plus I'm on aygestin and another drug..... So far I'm just tired from the aygestin since I started that a week ago. Lupron doesn't hit me for about 2 weeks..... So we shall see. FX the Lupron is kind to me this time. Ha

QOTD: I would say cooking is my special talent. I was raised vegetarian and frankly, I had to learn to be SUPER creative with food.

EDDs are really tough. I had such a range of emotions leading up to mine and shortly after. Just know that you are not alone and we are all here for you ((hugs)).

Fx the second one starts to catch up so they both release, I'm sorry the financial strain of this all is weighing on you. Let us know how you make out tomorrow.

That's great you can be creative in the kitchen. Do you still eat vegetarian? What about YH?

@TVLily‌ yes I'm still a vegetarian. I'm not vegan because I eat eggs and dairy. As for MH..... He will never be a vegetarian lol.....the man loves his meat; but he only eats meat a couple of times per week.

Hi @TVLily‌ thanks sooooo much for taking over I really appreciate it!!!

Things are going well so far my check Wednesday was in fact the last one. Tonight is my last Lupron and tomorrow I start progesterone for my FET on Friday. There's a possibility I won't have to be on PIO they're checking my levels Wednesday ad Friday before the FET and if they're ok with endometrin only I'll just do that. 6days and counting until I'm pupo yikes.

Hi ladies, DH and I are back from visiting SIL in Portland, Or. We had a great time relaxing and eating. Such a great time that today I'm starting a new fitness/eating plan!

AFM: for the 2nd month, we're NTNP which I've been loving, actually. Once AF shows next month, we'll move forward with our 3rd IUI. We've decided on a total of 4 before moving on (if needed)

Yes, fresh transfer (day 5 I think) is the plan if there are any to transfer. I can honestly say that is what I am most worried about. That they won't make it through the PGD process to transfer.

I just did the 3T weekly check-in, so this will be a post & run. I'll come back later to read everyone's updates.. but I need a computer break for a bit.

I did hear from the nurse.. although I had to call back the following day because I was so confused and overwhelmed. I got it now though. Basically I go in on CD3 of my next cycle for a bunch of bloodwork. Then 2 weeks prior to the start of our IVF cycle, we go in for our injections class & DH will get his bloodwork done. We still aren't sure if we are going to start in August or September. We'll probably go back and forth a hundred times between now and then.

Thanks for the check-in @TVLily‌. I'm on my mobile so I'm quickly saying "hi" to all of you. I'm in the same boat as @ky29. Doing a natural cycle now and will go in on CD3 to start the IVF process with a new RE. I'm meeting up with two former coworkers on Thursday to pick their brains about IVF. One has a set of triplets and the other has two sets of twins!

I'm glad the nurse clarified everything for you. I can imagine it's a lot to take in. I hope you and YH come to a decision on when to start your ivf cycle without too much more stress; I'm sure there's never a perfect time but you just have to find a time that works best for you both.

Sorry I missed last check in. Things have been a little hectic. Last cycle didn't go well (siggy.) I'm doing ok with it though. I started Femara on Monday & took my last dose on Friday. I'm heading in tomorrow for a follie scan. I've definitely been feeling my ovaries. It's been hard to sleep on my stomach the last 2 nights, hopefully that means we'll have some nice follicles tomorrow. If this cycle is anything like my Clomid one in December, I'll be going in for IUI #3 in the next few days as well.

I'm just waiting for AF (next weekend) so I can start filling in dates for my ~Aug. 8th FET. EDD is coming up during this cycle so of course that's always on my mind.

QOTW: I've never been great at anything, but: Skill=working well with domestic animals (patience, handling, grooming) Talent= I craft, I bake, & I memorize numbers which seems to impress people all the time at work (I memorize the caller ID as people are calling all day & I memorize license plates of crappy drivers JIC)

I am ok. My mom was put back in the hospital Friday night, her pneumonia was worse than it was when she was in there last week. I am really over it all. Now they are saying her white blood out is high, so I can add that to my list of worries. The met is ok, I get to increase my dose today, so I am sure it will be torture for the first part of this week. I am not looking forward to that at all. Bleh. I have to call my RE's office today to find out what the details of my next cycle will be. I am supposed to start Clomid, but I dunno if they want that to be an IUI cycle or a TI with trigger. Sometimes, I hate that I have to do everything by phone, communication is so hard that way. Hope everyone has a wonderful week!

Thank you! One friend (with two sets of twins) used the office remotely when she was at CCRM. She definitely recommended them. I have two other friends that have both recently been referred there as well so I think it's a positive sign.

ASM: meds were adjusted finally, I knew we'd eventually have to up the follistim. looks like I will trigger tomorrow and ER will be thursday. then starts the wait to see how they fertilize and grow, which right now is the scariest part for me since when we did IVM we had crappy embryos.

QOTW: no idea, though if you ask my DH he would say it's spinning a topic/arguement so far around that I have a justifiable excuse or rationale for anything and everything. Or cooking. I'm pretty kick ass at that.
