Recycling car seats

Anyone know any places that can take old car seats for recycling? DD will be transitioning out of the infant seat soon, and it is old from DS1, and I hate the thought of putting it in a landfill. TIA!

    LINK I don't know if anyone else does, but I found this link from Consumer Reports.
    Son: Jackson, 11/02/06, stillborn due to PPROM and IUGR. Over the next ten years we had 9 miscarriages from 8-14 weeks. On May 18, 2016 my daughter, Ridley, was born. We're OADNBC.

    Check with your local fire station.  Ours have car seat clinics once a month for installation checks and they take car seats to be recycled at this time as well.  Also, BRU has reinstated their trade in event, so if you need new baby gear you may save it until the event happens again so you can get a discount on something new.
