Not sure about this..
Just checked my blood pressure.. its 106/60.. that's after running
around shopping at the grocery. Is that too low for 1st trimester? I
have been feeling shaky.. but could just be from being nervous about
miscarriage.
Going to post this on several boards cause I am worried about it.
I
have always had low blood pressure and not sure if that will be bad
during pregnancy. One time I was rejected for donating blood because
they told me it was too low and would be too dangerous. Needless to say
that freaked me out.. then they took my pressure again and it was high
enough to donate, lol.

Re: Is my blood pressure too low?
Every person has a different threshold. It's fairly normal though. Pre-pregnancy mine was generally 90/50.
At 4months while grocery shopping I blacked out at the check out. I woke up to an ambulance and very panicked people. I had type 1 diabetes so assumed that but on wake up my levels were perfectly normal...turns out my blood pressure plummeted. For the next few months if I stood still for a few minutes my blood pressure would plummet. It was scary, I ended up buying and wearing a wrist blood pressure reader for a few months to track things. If I ever felt slightly "off" while out I would immediately sit/lie down and drink water. This was awkward...nothing like being shopping and trying to pay for something and suddenly sitting down on the floor at the checkout! But, it beat blacking out.
Anyways in the first trimester it is common for blood pressure to run lower as your body makes more blood. Check with your doc what your safe level is. Make sure you drink tons of water (after blacking out I was told 12cups a day minimum). If you feel really weak and shaky sit or lie down so your body can pump more blood to the brain.
