Aden and Anais Swaddles

I have read so many things on here about the Aden and Anais Swaddles ...we received other Swaddles at our baby shower and tried one the other night but it made me feel that DS was fighting all night to keep his legs straight ...I'm looking at purchasing a different brand...my questions are...

Is Aden and Anais really the best?

If yes is there a certain type that works best?

What do you dress LO in at night with swaddle during summer to ensure they are warm enough?

I'm not a fan, it's just too much to think about in the night for me. I like the SwaddleMe or Woombie swaddles because it's quick. We wear cotton footed jammies and a cotton swaddle. Our house is about 70 degrees at night. With my winter baby, she wore the same swaddle and fleece jammies.

I love Aden and Anais blankets for a multitude of reasons , but for a tight infant swaddle I prefer something with Velcro, such as the SwaddleMe blankets.

I preferred the Aden & Anais swaddles, especially when we switched to the escape proof swaddle method around 3 months I believe. DD was born in September, so it was cooler, so she was in a footed sleeper + swaddle.

I only use the Aden & Anais blankets for light cover ups when nursing, covering baby's car seat when out, etc. I've never used their swaddles. We just use the swaddlemes. They are easy to use, hold baby's arms nice and tight but leave plenty of room for the legs to move around.

We use A&A swaddles for the daytime, but nighttime right now we have a swaddle me and a sleep sack that we alternate between. I like the sleep sack more for wrapping her up, but it's a PAIN to get her out of for changing. I need to find a few other options that are easier when I'm in zombie awake mode.

I love the A&A easy swaddle, it's a little more difficult than the SwaddleMe but I love it.

i love the a&a swaddles but for nighttime swaddling i prefer the miracle blanket. DD never managed to escape from that one.

Exactly this. We've been doing a cotton footie sleeper plus SwaddleMe on DD and it's about right in our 75 degree house with a ceiling fan on in our room (she sleeps in the PNP).

This for me too. And Halo sleep swaddle sacks. But I did buy a few A&A to take some pictures because I think it's an adorable look. I took this one today:)

Halo and swaddleme are my two favorites. Like pp said, I like A&A for car seat cover, receiving blanket, spit up catcher, nursing cover, etc. I prefer velcro for night time swaddling, it just seems to be more snug.

I like the a&a blankets for all kinds of things, but for swaddling I prefer the miracle blanket. She sleeps in a gown and sometimes a swaddle, but sometimes just the gown.

I like the swaddle me brand, so much easier. Since it's so freaking hot here we out him in a onesie, socks and swaddle.

I really like ours but the regular blankets are rather large so a lot of fabric to swaddle I prefer halo but the blankets are great and light weight If in a sleep sack we keep him in a onesie underneath
