Anyone have any experience potty training a toddler with a new baby in the house? I know it will be difficult to make a dash for the bathroom if I am feeding or changing the baby.. Should I keep a potty in the playroom or just in the bathroom and hope we can make it in time? Any tips or advice? I think we will try to start potty training right after her 2nd birthday (she is showing some signs of readiness but the end of July & August are crazy busy so I don't want more stress on either of us), so the baby will be 4.5 months. Thanks!
Re: Potty training with a new baby
We currently have a little potty in her play room and she asks to sit on it sometimes, but its usually when she sees it and remembers it's there. @ashiscute That's a good point about starting it before DD2 becomes mobile. That's also a good idea about giving her a warning before I start feeding DD2.
Thanks for your help!
