Anyone else starting to lose their mucus plus? BTW - I hate that term. ![]()
I'm 32 weeks with B/G twins. I have a scheduled C-section at 38 weeks, but I started losing my last night and this morning. My Google searches show that this is not an indicator that labor is coming soon. It could still be up to 3 weeks. But... Yikes, I am not ready for them to arrive yet. I still have a lot of stuff I want to warp up before they arrive.
I have not had any other labor symptoms, so I have not called my doctor.

Congratulations on your twins!

OP: You can lose your mucus plug in pieces for weeks leading up to birth and it will regenerate. You can lose your mucus plug in one big chunk and go into labor soon after. You can lose it in one chunk and not go into labor for days still. You can lose it and not even notice. It can stay firmly in place until you're already in labor.
For me, I never noticed my plug with my first pregnancy. Everyone is different. Your Google search is correct...it does not mean impending labor. Pay more attention to fetal movement, contractions, water breakage/leakage, and bleeding for signs labor or something wrong.
I hope you keep those twins in there another 6 weeks! Good luck! :-)
