I didn't see one for today yet so I thought I would get one going

DS is still sick

DD is happy as can be. Way better than two being sick but I think we are all getting cabin-fever. DH is driving me nuts trying to get DS to do what he wants. I am sitting there screaming in my head "he's sick, leave him be!!!"

I am getting the house ready for 6 members of DH's family to come stay with us for 12 days... Ugh!

We are sick over here too. CC has been coughing but only seems bother her when she's trying to get to sleep. Once she gets into a deep enough sleep we are ok. Hope your family feels better soon!

Working 12 hours today worked 12 hours yesterday....haven't seen LO awake except for a MOTN feeding. I'm sad. Nuff said.

My in laws are visiting and fil is driving me CRAZAY! Today we are having a cookout/pool party for DHs bday which is tomorrow. Glad for the distraction! On another note CC slept in her crib for the first time yesterday! Granted it was only an hour nap but it's progress and I'll take it!

That's really sweet! We all ended up singing along to the top of our lungs.

If it's not too personal, what is her faith? There aren't too many that designate their houses of worship that way.

She's LDS. We sang at the top of our lungs too

We've moved 4 times and its hard to get close to people when you aren't in one place for very long. We just moved again and I'm trying to find ways that I can connect with other moms.

Thanks. It's tough. I miss you guys. I feel insane often due to life being so busy. I seriously need a maid my home....let's not talk about it

I hear ya on the friends thing. It's so hard to make friends though! It's totally panic-inducing stressful for me to meet new people. I feel obligated more now so the kids will have neighbor friends and whatnot. Ugh, I'm stressing out just thinking about it. I had a solid group of friends but we've scattered across the country and I have no family local either. It gets lonely.

I haven't had many jobs and I've only been at this one for 1 1/2 years. I definitely wasn't planning on switching so soon and I wasn't looking. This opportunity is pretty much falling into my lap and that's the only reason why I think I need to not miss out on it.

Day 4 of WNV in full swing for DS. I think his fever is finally breaking (I hope!!!) but he is so staying home tomorrow. I'll be taking DD to daycare so I can focus on him and only have to resort to netflix for the 2 meetings I have to be active on.

This stuff sucks and I can see how for the really young, really old, or those with compromised immune system it gets them. DS has only had fevers up to 102 in the past and these 4 days, with constant Tylenol and Motrin, it's been up to 104 at times.

Crossing fingers that this is the last of it!

I don't know what that is, but it doesn't sound pleasant. So sorry to hear it!

Its a cyst that forms on the tailbone. Hurts like a bitch but are so much worse if they become infected/abscess. I think I caught this one in time though.

The drama a couple weeks ago did not set well at all, and the final straw was a lurker no one knew existed who came in and said we were her entertainment.
