Breastfeeding question

I have an 8 month old that I had started to transition to formula exactly 2 days before I found out I was expecting. My milk was starting to dry up, so I felt it was time.

Does anyone have experience with weaning while pregnant? I am just concerned if I continue weaning, that will affect my milk supply for #2... Am I overthinking?

    Yep, you're overthinking. Weaning now has nothing to due with your supply in 8.5 months.

    Your supply will be fine next time around. Weaning now has nothing to do with what will happen after #2 is born.

    Thanks! I figured I was overthinking it, but something just kept telling me in my head that milk production started from the beginning of pregnancy, and I didn't want to do anything to jeopardize future nursing plans.
