When Mommy Gets permission to hang out for the weekend

...Cause this is how I am feeling.
I get to go to a concert tonight and hang with one of my best friends... and it was a Mother's Day Gift from her hubby. Treating us to a Girls Night Away!
When her hubby was telling me what he was going to do I thought oh what a great surprise (she had mentioned it to him anyway b/c we said we were going to go to this concert b/c we couldnt afford our sorority conference in D.C.)... ANd then he dropped the kicker on me and "Oh yeah you are going too"!
He said that even though he didnt know all of the details of what happen between the Ex and I but he said that he knew I deserved it :-)
So as of right now... I am still
despite Bobby Brown quitting the tour (I am going to go see New Edition).
It is only an overnight thing but I told the ex that I would be gone the entire weekend and that The Lil Emperor was all his. If I have a few dollars to spare (or if I hit something at the Casino, I might get a room for tomorrow evening
... Might even have to make a phone call to someone 
And for the 1st time in forever, I do not have any guilt for enjoying myself :-)
