Saturday Randomness & other stuff

Just got home from the Mojo cook off-- DH came in 2nd. He's bummed :( but he won it 2 years in a row. He had to pass along his pig trophy to another place.

Z is running on fumes- no nap. Plus being out in the hot sun and humidity all day. I see a early bedtime for her tonight.

We are still looking for a place.... the broker sent out an agent to do a safety check and make sure everything in our place was working and to see what it looked like. They said there is a possibility to stay but they'd have to raise our rent. I told them if that was the case we'd leave. No way am I going to pay 1200 a month.

    We are in hell aka a swim meet. It is hot in here, I am too old for bleachers and I have to figure out how to explain to my five year old that yes you were first but you were disqualified. Oh and my three month old has decided he won't take a bottle like not at all. This weekend rocks!

    I just messed up my knee. I am sure it is my acl. After dinner I am going to the ER to make sure. Other than that it has been a great day.

    Dh took dd to the park to play with mil. Apparently, bil and his girlfriend got really drunk at a party and mil picked them up. Bil promised his gf that he would propose by the end of the year. Mil said she doesn't think gf remembers because she threw up right before and right after the car ride. It is the trashiest "I promise we'll get married" story I have ever heard. But I am still happy because I like gf and they've been together for years. Plus I all ready knew because he told dh he is going to propose on Christmas day a couple months ago.

    We took the boys to the pool today and had a blast! N actually went in the water today (he screamed last time if we tried to make him go in) and had fun w/ it too!

    The day ended on a sort of sour note though..... DH is pissing me off grrrr.

    I am eating oreos, drinking wine and working on a freezer meal plan a friend and I are going to make. After that I might read for a while or maybe do some work (doubtful, see wine above). DH moved some furniture around for me today and I LOVE my family room now. Our upstairs is now almost entirely empty though and I have zero vision for it.
    Hallelujah, it's a miracle, I have children AND a signature!

    Went to the gym and pool with ds this morning while DH went fishing. Ds asked to go on the potty there - we aren't officially potty training yet so this was huge! He took nice long nap and i actually got a few things done. dh brought home trout and flounder for dinner, yum. Definitely a beach day tomorrow and hopefully a bike ride too (which was supposed to happen today but dh couldn't turn down a fishing day.)

    We're moving into a new house so I spent the day packing and waiting for furniture to be delivered. All of our furniture in storage won't be delivered until next week but I still have plenty of other things to do. In the afternoon we went to a small amusement park with DS and my nieces and nephews. All and all a pretty good day.

    Also wanted to thank whoever posted in the UO that they were eating ice cream or something.  I just caught up and it reminded me I have Ben & Jerry's in the freezer.  Happy motorcycle-trip-weekend to me!

    Well I did have DH w/ me....no way would I attempt that solo at their age now!! It's also helpful when one baby likes the water but the other doesn't, heheh.
