Baby Hawk Mei Tai

I'm hoping you ladies can help me out. I was looking into getting a BabyHawk Mei Tai but I'm not sure. It looks like it would be uncomfortable to use once C got older and heavier to wear for long periods of time (i.e. at the mall, hiking trails, ect.) Has anybody here used a BH Mei Tai or the Oh Mei? I know lots of people love Tulas, but those are a bit out of my price range.

    I have a Baby Hawk and I think it was pretty comfortable when my older son got bigger. Honestly though, I didnt get to use it much when he got walking since he wanted to walk everywhere. Maybe it's just because I'm more used to the BH, but I find it easier to use than my Boba.

    I did stop using mine after my son got past 25 pounds or so.  I bought an ergo because it was more supportive of his weight.   I did really love the BH MT though for as long as he wasn't too heavy and I like being able to wear DD in it now.

    We love our Baby Hawk mei tai.  It is our most used carrier and we babywear a ton!  We recommend it to everyone.  We have the traditional mei tai (as opposed to the oh mei) because I like that both DH and I can wear it without having to adjust any buckles and the simplicity of the design.  Recently we bought a Kinderpack (very similar to Tula).  Partly because it is easier to get our toddler on our backs unassisted and partly because we had another baby to wear in the BH.  But we can still wear our toddler in our BH if we want to.

    I don't have a baby hawk mei tai but I do have another mei tai from infantino that we love :) comfy to wear
