What's good this weekend? C is going to spend tonight with my ILs, and I am so excited for the break. I love that little girl, but she's like the energizer bunny on crack, and she gets amazingly cranky as she gets tired. Dh has a game thing afternoon with his friends so charlie and I will get some time to ourselves in the house. I'm hoping that when he comes home we can just hang out together and relax.

Eta: I may or may not have encouraged my two year old to put her bath toys in the shower with dh because "daddy wants your ducky..." It made me giggle, kept her busy for a few minutes, and he didn't like it. Given how long he spends in the bathroom in the morning, I'm happy to get him a bit frustrated

When I put this pajamjam on baby boy last night DD2 said, mommy those are jail colors! And I said what makes you say that? And DD1 said sagely, mommy we see jail on tv we know what it's like.

I just want to AW my DH. He is such an amazing help to me with DD. Right now, it's 4:30 am and I've been up with her since just before 3. DH woke up as I was trying to get her down, asked how long I've been up, then got up and said he'd take her out of the bedroom so I could get some sleep. When I told him to wake me if she needed to eat, he told me he had a bottle and that it was his turn to feed her while I slept. Oh how I love that man.

Throwing my sisters bridal shower today! My DH and dad are watching the little ladies at our house while us big ladies have fun. The amount of adoration and sheer love my dad has for these girls is insane. They are already extremely spoiled and they don't even know it yet!

We are going to my aunt and uncle's house tonight for a BBQ and a Vivian meet and greet. My uncle is an AMAZING cook so hubby is especially looking forward to this.

Tomorrow we are headed to the zoo with both kids and Grammy! We are packing a picnic and everything. So excited to get out and about!

The baby slept five and a half hours last night before waking up to nurse, which means I slept. Oh glorious sleep I've missed you.
And my dh who calmed the baby down after work last night and u had a 15 min long ugly cry from being tired and having sore nips.

I just pumped over 4oz in one sitting which is a record for me! My favorite aunt flew in from Florida yesterday to meet the baby and is staying at my mom's (5 mi from my house) til the end of the month, and today DH & I are taking LO to my BIL's new house for a housewarming party and I can't wait! I love that I am getting more confident bringing her places.

My sister's high school graduation party is today! I am excited to see family, eat awesome food, and show of my babies. I am also excited that I pumped enough to have the option of not nursing for a feeding or two during the party.

My dad and his girlfriend and my sister and BIL are in visiting. I just pumped and DH and I are about to take a long nap while they hang out with the baby!

After a major fit of crying from both kids, they are both asleep. At the same time!! That means I got to cook and eat lunch while it was still hot. I forgot how good food tastes when it is still hot! And now iced coffee, trashy tv, and bumping

Literally, sunshine. DH was playing with LO while I tidied up around the bedroom, and when he got fussy, DH soothed him and now they are napping together. Which is freaking adorable, but it frees me to sit on the balcony with my coffee and get some sun. So nice!

DH agreed to watch the boys for as long as I need to get out of the house today. No expected time home, I just go and come back whenever. (I plan on only being gone a few hours, but I plan on having a drink or two!)
He may know how to piss me off, but he certainly knows how to make it better again!

After working 3 weeks straight of 6days 12+hr shifts, my DH is off tomorrow and Monday! And tonight I am going to the zoo with the my family to watch an Eagles cover band! So not only do I get to have actual human contact (aside from lil man) I get to have a conversation with my DH thats not purely via text messaging! Woo-hoo!

And my step dad messaged me this morning that he bought a mosquito net to cover the baby tonight at the zoo. So thoughtful and sweet

My mom came down to help us pack up the apartment. She packed the kitchen, watched the baby while we did the living area and bought lunch. We are half done now and it would have taken much longer without her.

DH watched LO so I could spend all afternoon at a pool party with my coworkers. What a much needed and appreciated break! I had my first alcoholic drink in over 10 months too, a mimosa. Of course I constantly checked my phone and worried about them, but at least I was out in the sunshine enjoying company.

Hubs and I are going on an afternoon date! Our first outing together without MJ. She is going to my mom's and we are going to see the new Transformers movie because this nerdy/geeky mama needs her fix :-bd

I can't remember where I posted about worrying about Parker's hearing, but we found out last week that his hearing is perfect. He is just a very chill baby lol. Celebrated by going to the movie Maleficent with my mom, dd1, and Parker . I figured he would fuss at some point and I would have to leave the movie, but he was so good! I watched the whole thing!

Little one was up every hour and a half to two hours last night, and I got up for his 6 o'clock feeding so tired that DH took the baby off of me and went out in the living room to play with him so I could sleep another 2 hours. Love that man.

Dh and I had a bit of a tiff this morning over his inability to keep charlie calm for more than 15 minutes after I feed him. He always just brings him right back and makes it mg job because I have the boobs. This morning my boobs were getting screamed at so I told dh that when that happens, we are on even footing, as my boobs are obviously not helping at that point. Didn't think it sank in. But, and here's the sunshine part, I just got a half hour nap while C was down because all charlie was doing was screaming at my boobs. Dh offered, took him, and kept him quiet for a half hour! A, so happy I got even a little shut eye. B, he did it without being asked. C, it's probably the most time he's spent with charlie yet.
