Follow up a/s

I just got home from my follow up. I got a lot more information from the tech today than my doctor gave me. The reason for the second scan was to look at her heart. I went in for my first scan at 17w6d, a little early. She told me the position the baby was in last time they couldn't see the left ventricle and the right ventricle (the flow in and out of the babies heart). They had seen all 4 chambers and she told me generally when the 4 chambers are healthy and developed there should be no concern about the venticles, but they have to check. She told me everything looked good as far as she can tell. My appointment with my doctor is at the end of the month and I'll know more then.

She is weighing in at 1 pound 6 ounces and measuring 23w6d. So a week ahead. This little Scorpio baby is so stubborn we have yet to see her face.

Yay for a good scan!! I have to go back too, the babes are just too comfy to move. My tech couldn't see the base of the spine.

I'm glad you found out why! I was wondering about that and my little guy! We have to go back for a 3rd US to get pics of his heart and I was wondering why. He has 4 chambers and I didn't know what else they were looking for. Stubborn babies!

Congrats on the good scan! I have to get another one too. Next Thursday we will find out for sure about the heart defect.
