the post pregnancy, post sex freak out

So after my 6 week check up, I got cleared for sex.  I got birthcontrol and waited 2 weeks to have sex.  I should be good right? This is totally weird for me! not having my period to go by.  I've been spotting for a few days.  I just am havinga a mini freak out. I am soo not ready to be pregnant again.  I know really all I should do is go buy  a test, and i'm probably not even pregnant, just wish I had a period to go by.

    It is nerve wracking to not have a period! I almost didn't get the Mirena because of it. FWIW I've been having strange bleeding for awhile and i haven't had sex yet.

    Per my midwives, two weeks are fine. And completely normal to spot for the first couple of months.

    Buying a test would probably put your mind at ease. It does for me whenever I worry about it.

    (My freak out was when I thought the condom fell off inside of me lol. Nope, still was on.)

    I'm in the same boat. I think I had a light period already? But I'm not sure... so I'm waiting until Aug 1st and if I don't get my period again by then I'll take a test.

    I'm glad I'm not alone in this.  It's just making me so paranoid!
