Approximately 1 zillion. They live in them. And on a given day we could change up to 3-4 times.

Also, not sure what you're having, but I have b/g twins, so I have as many neutral options as possible. Although I'm not gonna lie, my boy has proudly sported a pink onesie!

I'm on mobile, so I can't see if you have a ticker. When will your babies be born? I had late October babies and we mainly used sleepers at the beginning. They had some onesie & pant combos but not a lot. Now that it's summer, onesies are practically all they wear.

  • All my kids lived in sleepers for a month or two. Then they lived in onesies.

So tons of NB and 0-3 sleepers and then tons of 0-3, 3-6, etc onesies.

Seriously, two dozen wouldn't be an exaggeration.

I would hold off on preemie. All my boys (one FT singleton, preemie twins) wore preemie for a minute. I had a small selection but it wasn't entirely necessary.

  • Thanks guys! :)

I went through my stash from DD, and I counted 11 white and 6 boy (someone thought we were having a boy, but I had no problem with putting her in blue). DD was born in a cold Michigan January, and these babies are due in December (also probably going to be freezing, but not as cold as January), so we used onsies under the sleepers.

I got very lucky with DD, she did not spit up but maybe a handful of times so we were able to save all of her stuff. She was full term, but only weighed 6.10. She wore NB for the first 2.5 months.

We had an utlrasound at 16w and the doc said one boy for sure, but wouldn't say for sure if the other was boy or girl. I am thinking girl. We have another u/s on the 21st, so hopefully will know for sure.

  • Depends on how much laundry you want to do :)

Mine were born at 37wks and spent about a week in preemies, 2 months in NB, 3 months in 3-6m, and are just outgrowing their 6-9m stuff about now (their birthday is next week). In the early months we easily used 4 outfits per day, per baby. Sometimes it was even more than that, between reflux and blowouts.
