Anyone here dairy free? My son has terrible ezema and ped recommended I try dairy free. I am on week 2. If so, what sort of improvement did you see in your baby? How long did it take you?
For any who have tried it and its not been the source of lo's problem, when did you know it was time to throw in the towel?.
Thanks for your input!!!!
Re: Dairy Free? Come in.
Hi, there! Yup, there are a bunch of us that are dairy free. We have a weekly check-in, if you're interested:

I started by removing all dairy and soy (hidden as well). It took about 5 weeks for the proteins to make there way out of our systems and then I started seeing results. Later, I had to cut out a handful of other things (eggs, nuts, corn, etc) and still have some bumps along the way but things are SO MUCH better!! You definitely don't have to throw in the towel if you still want to BF! GL!!

You might see improvement with simply cutting obvious dairy, or you may need to cut all "hidden" dairy as well. Here is a good list of ingredients that may contain hidden dairy: https://www.godairyfree.org/dairy-free-grocery-shopping-guide/dairy-ingredient-list-2
GL! We are here to answer questions.
Edited because...well, I'm tired. :P
