Trying to Get Pregnant

BFP? (Loss mentioned) *updated*

So I took a test yesterday and again today... But the line was so light ... I'm not sure...
I already went to the doctor but blood work won't be finished until Monday ...
I'm just so nervous after losing our daughter last time... I don't know if I should celebrate or cry and I'm not even sure if the tests are telling the truth O_O' I'm completely paranoid...
A line is a line though, right?
Any of you ladies had this? The super SUPER light pink line?

**update***

I know I've done it twice already, but I want to thank all of you wonderful laces again- you all really helped me... I've been smiling from ear to ear all day :D

I went out last night and picked up a proper test and after using it this morning- I saw a pleasantly dark line :D
I still don't have my betas but as far as I'm concerned- it's just a huge relief, for now.
I noticed a few ladies post what they did beforehand, so here it goes...

-pre-pregnancy vitamins with folic acid, omega 3's , pumpkin seed extract, and all that good stuff.
-BBT charting every morning before getting out of bed.
-monitored CM.
-Took chaste berry extract pills to regulate my normally erratic cycles.
-used preseed during ovulation/intercourse.

And that's it! I really hope this will be our rainbow baby....
Best of luck to all of you.... I hope this is everyone's lucky year :).

A line is a line is a line.

    That's TTC 101.

ETA - it's normal to feel nervous after a loss, but a false positive is pretty rare. Trust your test.

HPTs are either positive or negative. They don't tell you what your beta HCG level is or how far along you are, only that the amount of HCG detected in your urine sample is at least as much as is required to create a line on that test.

And if you had read the TTGP blog like the link on the forum page recommends, you'd know why this is the wrong place to ask this question, so prepare for plenty of snark about it.
ETA: I apologized downthread but I'll put it here, too: My apologies. There are so many questions that come up about tests that do get snarked about that I assumed this thread would go the way of snark, too. My bad.
  • Thank you ladies so much- and I'm not a newbie lol. I just really needed someone neutral to tell me that false positives are unlikely.... It's been a very difficult three years trying to have a baby and Im certainly not sure of trusting these cheap little pregnancy sticks (not saying that three years is very long- I know some of you ladies have been trying so hard for so long, that it's no comparison) ... But again... Thank you ladies for everything :). Good to know I'm not the only one who thinks (hopes) that a line is a line lol.

  • Yasm33na  yes a line is a line as you know!  I too was very nervous my last pg bc of the chemical pregnancy I had.  It is normal to be anxious- newby or not.  Hope you hang around, get active on the board (FFFC) it will help take your mind off your worries.  Best wishes!
  • Good luck and fingers crossed, try not to worry, but I know that is easier said than done!

Congrats!  Sorry you're feeling some trepidation and worry as a result of your loss.  And sorry for your loss in the first place.  But yes, as others have said, a line is a line.  So, congrats!  Easier said than done, I'm sure, but try to enjoy it. :)

  • @Yasm33na‌ PGAL is a godsend! Until you hit the point of your previous loss, nerves are to be expected. After you pass that point, well... feeling terrified is pretty normal. Like it has been said, today you are pregnant.

FX for good results and a happy and healthy 9 1/2 months. Now get thee where you belong... no more TTGP for you! ;)

FWIW, My two dollar store tests only ever gave very faint lines. Like a PP said, they aren't indicative of how much hcg is in your urine, just whether it's there or not.

    Fx for you!
Haha! You were right :) I went out and got a clear blue and got a much darker line, Thank you!!!
