Has anyone recently gotten rid of the paci? If so, how did you do it and how did it go? My pediatrician says there is no harm until 2 or even later, but my DD is over 18 months now, and it seems like it's probably time to give it up. We recently made a big cross country move, and I'm currently out of work as a result (DS is due in 9 weeks, we moved for my husband's job), so I've been using it a lot with all the transitions. LO was used to a busy daycare schedule, and has had a somewhat rough time adjusting to being at home and being dragged on errands, etc. and I've probably been relying on it more than I should, but it just works so darn well. It's going to be hard to break, because she's been using it throughout the day when needed in addition to naps. Anyone have any advice, experience to share? Thanks in advance!
Re: Breaking the Paci
It was horrible with DS. I'd do it now if you can.
