I got the started kit...but I am not sure about it. They put the sample one on me and I feel like it isnt all that great...I feel like maybe I am too orange. So tell me why you love it soo much...
Ya they put it on me and it looked ok in the store it was on the way home that I looked an wasnt too sure..

I LOVE bare minerals! But I know some ppl don't I think it's the warmth.. I think if it comes off a lil orange they might have gone happy with the brush and the warmth. THat's usually what gives it that orange hue.. what I would do is try to do it without as much warmth.. if you watch the dvd that comes with it the lady puts very little warmth on.. a little goes a long way.?
I like it, but I don't use the warmth either. My skin already has a red tinge to it, so I skip the warmth all together. You can try not putting the warmth on and see what you think.
Are you pretty fair? I'm very fair and Bare Minerals doesn't work for me - even their lightest shade is too yellow for my skin. I can't even come close to the warmth, it immediately makes me look completely orange, even if I use a speckle. One single speckle.
I tried Everyday Minerals (same exact concept, except lacking one mineral that BM uses that actually bothered my skin) and never went back. Not only is it cheaper than BM, but they have way more shades and I found a perfect one to match. No more yellow.
I've been using it for years and only use the basic "foundation" and a cream concealer from another brand. I'm not sure what all they put in the starter kit, but I find just using the one thing works great.

Ditto on the Everyday Minerals. After having Jack, I couldn't wear BE. Anyway, Everyday Minerals has a very wide color selection and different formulas that you can mix and match. I love the stuff. And the fact that it is just about half the cost of BE makes it even better.
Re: Bare Minerals users..
If you're too orange, maybe they used too much "warmth" on you for your taste maybe?
If your starter kit has 2 foundation colors, you can try mixing them to come up with the right color for your skin tone.
