My DS's class is mostly free play time where they kids just run around, try out the equipment and play. They do instruction for like 10-15 minutes (about as long as most of them can make it) where they rotate centers (sumersaults, bars, handstands) so the kids get exposure to the elements but aren't frustrated.
I'm confused a bit. What's the issue? My DD loved gymnastics from the get go. She struggled a bit listening from time to time but what she was doing was so exciting she usually was really happy to do what she was told. Plus there were other kids listening and following directions for her to copy.
Just go into with a positive attitude and realistic expecations and she'll have a blast.
Aaahhh, typo! I meant terrible TWOS***. But anyway, I just wanted any advice for basically a possible meltdown during her class. I'm not going to push her or anything but idk if encouraging her will make her hate it SOMEHOW. I'm not too worried now though, thanks for replying
Re: Maybe a silly question about 18 mo dd taking gymnastics.
