Does anyone else feel like they stink?

This is random, but does anyone else feel like they stink? I have noticed it especially while I'm nursing. I feel especially bad for DS when I'm using a nursing cover, since then it's like he's trapped with it. Deodorant doesn't seem to help either. Obviously this is related to hormones, but seriously can someone toss me a break? I just want to start feeling like a "lady" again.

Yes yes and yes! I've been complaining about it to dh for weeks. He doesn't smell me though.

I think it's the hormones.

@anniemore I WISH I smelled like Sauvignon Blanc! haha!

I can't name a scent that describes me, but combined with the spit up all over me, I'm sure I smell delightful!

I feel like I smell like cheese from all the breast milk plus I have been running hot and swear I have been having hot flashes still. LO runs hot too and he usually gets milk on his hands and neck etc so together we smell like fondu

I had to switch deodorants after I had Beb. It's starting to seem like I'll have switch again. Dem whormones be cray.

I had to move up to a clinical strength antiperspirant a couple of weeks ago bc my Dove wasn't cutting it anymore. Plus I smell like breast milk, which I hate. It's especially bad when I'm hot and my bra pads need to be changed. No one else has mentioned it though, not even DH, so maybe I'm just sensitive to it.

Yes, I smell and there is nothing I can do about it. My breast pads also stink like rotten milk so I pretty much offend people no matter what I do. No one had mentioned it, but I can smell it so I know other people must. Deodorant and showers don't work for some reason.

Yes!!! Have definitely had way worse BO despite antiperspirant /deodorant ever since LO was born. Even when it hasn't been hot and I haven't felt sweaty. And even when ive actually bern able to shower. Glad I'm not alone though sorry for all of us. I think it might be a bit better this week though (LO is 2 months old now) - maybe hormones settling out.?

There's still the coating of sour milk from spit-up though... usually refreshed very shortly after I get out of the shower - when I've even been able to get to have a shower ...

Yeah, me too. I posted about my giant boobs and I can really smell the BO when I lift them up to feed DD. Grosses me out every time. I now use a cloth stuffed under them when feeding just to control the sweating.

My Mom was just telling me that she went through this after having me. She said she smelled like garbage no matter what. For her, it started when she got her first post partum period and lasted 2 months. Our bodies are so strange!

The first few weeks PP wee intense BO. It would "flare up" every time I breast fed. Now I pump and take fenugreek so I just smell like maple syrup all the time.

I had really gross under am BO for a couple weeks in the beginning no matter how much deodorant I wore, which was unusual for me BC I never sweat - I'm always cold!!! Fang hormones. Luckily that's gone away but +1 million on the sour milk smell.

My super sniffer sence of smell kicked in with 1st son. Thought it would go away after my hormones got back in line, NOPE. I can always smell my own "sent" through any deodorant and perfume. My family called me paranoid cuz they can't smell anything.

What's weird for me, is that it is only my right side (armpit or breastpad, I'm never sure) that smells. Does anyone else think one side smells worse?

I noticed this way more when DS1 was born. I had the worst BO and I had to switch up my deodorant. Even after all the hormones "settled out" I still found that my old deodorant didn't ever work as well again. So far this time I haven't really noticed it either way, although I do feel like the hot flashes just started...

DD is 7 weeks old. That seems so late for hormonal weirdness. Maybe it's bc i just got Mirena last week?

I smell like BO and cheddar cheese. Deodorant is only a mild distraction. Showers help for a few hours.

OMG yes! I thought it was just me. It smells like warm milk. But it's not stinky per se but I COULD become that way. I usually wipe off my chest and breasts with a baby wipe after I'm done nursing or pumping
