Induction tomorrow

We are passed 41 weeks so our doctor wants to induce tomorrow. Anyone here been induced? What was your experience like? I'm afraid my labor will last longer and be more painful because its not happening naturally.

    I was induced with my first two. They were both fast and easy labors (5 hours). Good luck!

    I wasn't induced with my first son but try not to worry and good luck!  You get to meet your little one soon!

    I haven't been induced, but I was labor coach for my sister who was induced!  She had a really good labor and delivery.  Best wishes for you and your family!

    I was induced and it was very long, but the first 14 hours not much was happening so it really wasn't bad. They gave me something to ripen my cervix on Monday night and then Tuesday afternoon inserted a balloon catheter, which is when labor really started. I had her Wednesday morning, so if you just count the time between catheter and birth it really wasn't that bad. They did not induce with pitocin though, so my contractions built up over time and didn't come on super strong right away. I did end up needing a c/s, but it was because she got stuck and was in distress, which probably would have happened regardless.
