Where do you keep your coconut oil?

Pantry or fridge? Mine is liquid in the pantry. Should I fridge it?

Re: Where do you keep your coconut oil?

  • Pantry. It usually stays a soft solid.

  • It turns liquid at 76° I think....but it doesn't need to be refrigerated...

I keep ours in our bathroom :)
  • Under my bathroom sink. I scoop some out and usually rub it between by hands to liquefy it. It's not too hard but not liquid either.

  • I keep it in the pantry. It's rarely warm enough in my house for it to liquefy (I think that happens somewhere around 75*), but even if it does that's not a problem.

  • Some in the pantry, some in the shower. It's a soft solid with a little liquid.

  • okay good to  know!

I've kept coconut oil in the house for months now and it has always been a soft butter like consistency. I took it out of the pantry yesterday to use and it was all liquid-- I was like uhhhhh.

I had to check! Thanks ladies!! :)

We used it when ds had cradle cap. It's also a good moisturizer. Just keep it off your face because it can clog pores.

    Oh ok. :)
I put it on my hair and throw it up for 20 minutes-30. Then shower and rinse it out. My hair is super soft and smooth.
  • One in the panty, one in bathroom (for hair/ skin), and one (ahem) in the bedside table. It's good for all KINDS of things  :\">
