BOB Duallie?!

So, I couldn't figure out why the BOB Duallie was never mentioned as stroller of choice for multiples/twins..... Just researching our expenses and came across nothing that showed 2 seats fitting. Is this the case , really??? Big bummer!

Re: BOB Duallie?!

  • We have the Ironman Duallie -- but we use it for jogs and long walks exclusively. We only used the DSNG for their carseats -- and then we moved to the Citi Mini once they were big enough (no carseat adapters or anything)

  • Loading the player...
  • It only allows for one infant carseat, sadly, as do most double strollers. We use it now that our boys are old enough to sit in it without their infant seats, but when they were tiny we used the DSNG.

We've been looking at the baby jogger summit x3 too.. seems similar to the BOB but folds up easier. But we'll use the double snap and go (DSNG) for awhile at first while they're little and in the infant seats.

DSNG - Double Snap N' Go

We have the Duallie but we only use it for runs and walks. We still have our DSNG but will get the city mini or something similar when they are out of the infant seats. The BOB is an awesome stroller for running but it's not very practical for everyday use. I doubt we would have used it as our everyday stroller even if it did hold two carseats because it's so heavy.

  • Ok thanks ladies!! I have a single BOB now and LOVE it! Hence, wanting to go with BOB duallie.

  • We use the duallie as our everyday stroller. If the place you're going is ADA accessible, the duallie will fit.

  • The City Mini is a good option for infants, too. The seats recline fully and so you can put the tiny babies in there. We had both the BOB and the City Mini at first but ended up selling the City Mini when the twins were 6 months because I am a runner and found I was not using the City Mini once they could ride in the BOB.

  • Excited I found this post, I am an avid runner (sadly on hiatus while pregnant with twins) and wanted to avoid having multiple strollers. I chose the bob because I had read it's a fantastic running stroller and that it was narrow enough to fit through ADA doors, which most stores should have. But I hadn't found much real life experience about it working out and about. So glad to hear moms are using it and it's working. I did get a DSNG for car seats as well, but I can't wait to use my BOB once they are big enough! Thanks!!
