    *sigh* thanks.
  • Sounds about right...
  • I guess I'm lucky because I don't feel tightly wound like that, no my house is still a mess and I don't always remember to brush my hair before leaving the house but I let dh worry about chores and stuff, I figure if he's going to stress about it why should I? At least I get sleep at night and clean when I can. I still don't get how sitting in the parking lot is a vacation unless she means on the rare occasion that your so has the kid (s) and you have to run an errand.
  • Probably less about things like having a clean house but I think I was a bit wound up long before I had my first child. However, when I'm not too busy being pregnant, a bit of wine/beer/choice alcoholic beverage helps. Now that I'm pregnant again, I'm not sure what to do.

  • @GromMom I have two kids 12 months and 3 yo and sometimes when they are both strapped in the carseat it feels like a vacation not a vacation but just a break. I forgot how exhausting a 12 month old can be!

I don't find it depressing at all. I do find that I spend a lot of time worrying about things that are insignificant though.

Gotcha, a parent of 2 kids told me the other day that having 2 kids makes having one kid seem like no kid because you never get a break.
