Question for 2nd time moms

Do you plan on telling people (other than close friends and family) any earlier this time around or will you wait until 12-13 weeks?

We told earlier. The people I see and talk to every day. Even though we had a m/c before our DD and I am still nervous that it could happen again, I guess that haing gone through it all I know that we will be ok if it were to happen again.

I'm having a CVS/FISH at 11 weeks. We're not sure what we'll do if we have an abnormal result, so we'll tell once we get the all-clear. Last time we told everyone at 10 weeks.

We did tell close family MUCH earlier this time. 4 wks for mine, and 7 wks for his.

We told immediate family right away (we did last time too) but we will not be sharing the news with anyone else anytime soon, especially since this whole pregnancy is still up in the air right now Sad

With DD we told right away. With my last pregnancy we told rightaway and then I m/c. This timeI told at 8 weeks when I found out it was twins and saw both heartbeats.

i already told all my friends and family. there was no way i could hide it around the holidays, if they didn't see me w/ a drink in my hand they'd definitely suspect something so i didn't want to go through the hassle of trying to hide it.

I told my SIL and my best friend the day I found out (as well as hubby of course). I have to have someone to talk to ya know? I'm actually waiting until after 12 weeks to tell anyone else including my mom.

1st time around I was telling everybody at 5 weeks, because I was too excited to hold it in. Yes, I was taking a risk, but I just knew the pregnancy was going to be ok. With this one, I'm just as excited, but don't want to make a big fanfare of it or brag because a few friends are still trying. I'll probably tell people when I see the heartbeat on the screen and everything is measuring good.

First time we told around 8 weeks (it was unavoidable since I was already so sick I had to be hospitalized.). This time we are telling around 7-8 as well. I am already sick and will most likely need all the help I can get with my DD. Ugh!

I told my parents, closest friends and sister right away and my h waited until after my first appointment to tell his parents. We sent out a little announcement in our Christmas card to let everyone else know right around when I was 11 weeks.

Congratulations to you! I used to nest all.the.time. when my dd was first born and I remember seeing pics of your dd-- she's a doll!
