UPDATE Baby has MRSA

Update - We have had multiple dr checks and blood checks. No infection seen in blood and everything looks good. The spots are all healing up. We had another visit this am and they said unless things change, he doesn't need to be seen again until his 1 month appt. so relieved. Now we just have to make sure that none of us in the house picked it up. Glad he is doing better. Was quite scary. Thank you all for the T&Ps. Appreciate it soooo much.

Scary. Please pray. Dr thinks baby looks good. We have had several blood draws and the blood counts look good. Dr checking him every other day. Anyone else hear of this?

My friends baby had it and is fine. I also have a NICU nurse friend that said babies get it all the time and it isn't as dangerous because they generally don't have any open wounds for it to attack.

Hope that eases your mind a bit, will be praying for your LO.
