I reported in the membrane stripping poll that it did nothing when I was pregnant with DS. Well...I had it done at my appointment yesterday (July 8) and 6 hours later I started contracting. Water broke at 9 pm and now I'm sitting in the hospital waiting for active labor to start. I really want to avoid pitocin in a few hours, so this little girl needs to get going!

Pit has begun. I wasn't really developing an active labor pattern 6 hours after water breaking, so pitocin it is. I am very open to the epi if I have to use pit.

At a 9.5. Epidural a are a marvelous thing, especially when you're having pitocin contractions 1 minute apart holy hell balls those hurt and there is no break.
