Another Baby Shower Question... Sorry

A very close friend of mine is having a bachelorette party the same weekend that we my babyshower host and I agreed to have the baby shower. The bride to be and I have quite a few mutual friends that I know plan on attending her bachelorette party, which is fine by me. My host and I were invited to the bachelorette party too, but I declined to go early on due to it being in Las Vegas.

The problem is these same people have asked when my babyshower is on several occasions including the bride to be, but my host and I kept changing the date due to work and other conflicts. We finally settled on a date late last week without even thinking about the party.

My question is should I have my host still invite the people that we know for sure are attending the bachelorette party to the shower? We don't want them to think that we purposely did not invite them.

I also don't want them to think we are just inviting them in hopes of getting a gift even if they can't attend. The focus of the shower is more to celebrate that I am finally having a baby rather than just receiving gifts.

Thoughts?

Honestly, just invite them and be done with it. You don't know that they are for sure going to the bachelorette party. I invited people far away and people that I know work on Saturdays. I just wanted them included. The two people that work on Saturdays, I messaged them and said an invite was coming, but I understand that they work, and there was no need to send anything--I just wanted them thought of. That probably was out of line and over the top for me to do, but I did it anyway.

Definitely invite them! That way they can decide what they want to do.
