Leak and discharge

Yesterday I noticed some discharge it was a little on the yellow side, this morning I noticed it seemed as if I owes a little which I'm sure is common but how do you know when it isn't pee? Doctor wants to see me late this evening just to be sure. Has this happened to any of you ladies ?

Ive had yellow mucusy discharge for months now. The dr said it is something called lochea (sp?) of pregnancy and thats fine. I also go through about 2-3 liners a day. But it cant hurt to have it checked. I read somewhere that its probably amniotic fluid if you can fill a regular pad in an hour.

Discharge every day for me. I hate days when I forget to wear a panty liner. Mine is white but can have a little yellow tinge to it.

That said, how do you know it's not pee? Smell it.

I have a ton of discharge also. I have to wear a panty liner, and I've noticed when it's about time to change it, sometimes it's yellow. It's always white/clear when I wipe so I think it just gets a bit yellow when it's exposed to the air.

I'm going in to be sure I thought twice about calling because I didn't want to annoy the office I feel like I call and always have questions . I've had a lot of stress past week due to a death in my family probably has nothing to do with it but my husband said call to be safe.
The yellow is what freaked me out reading all the comments make me feel a bit better that it's not just me I'm reading it can be very normal

I've had discharge for months now. Mostly clear, but occasionally yellow. Doctor said not to worry. I've taken to wearing panty liners most of the time. I get a whole bunch particularly when I go running.

I went to hospital for this same problem last week. I thought that I was leaking fluid but they checked me all out and ran labs everything was fine. They said that it is just a normal increase of discharge. But see you doctor to be sure. Hope all is well.

I've had discharge all pregnancy long. It's normal, especially if it was just one day.

Update : doctor alled back and had me admit myself to hospital FFN tests came back positive and I'm here waiting to see if I'm in premature labor or going into premature labor . Heartbeat is good just staying positive

Let me know. I have been wondering the same thing. My Dr says it is normal, but I was wondering if it was pee or just discharge

Here's an update I'm still admitted there not sure why my ffn tests failed but everything looks ok not dialated or contractions however I am low on fluid which they can't figure out why if there is no opening showing leakage I'm at a 4 should be atleast at a 7. Glad I called the doctor when I did there keeping me until further notice from doctor . Thank u everyone for your thoughts and prayers just hoping she doesn't come early . Next test will show how membranes are doing

That was me as well I couldn't tell if it was pee even from the smell couldn't tell. I had a weird discharge color as well. For me I'm glad I called my doctor although it felt minor trust your doctor but don't be afraid to ask for an FFN test just for precaution

Update : had another ultra sound and my fluids went up from 4 to 8.5 today which is good ! Minimum is a 7. Doctor wants me here over the weekend to keep checkin making sure fluids stay steady because once I'm home there is no way of knowing . Dr said most likely leak is high up and explained maybe that is why the leak the other day was only once so he wants me to keep an eye everytime I get up for the restroom . He said nobody should ignore discharge or leaking atleast notify doctor if it seems weird even just letting the office know is good.

So glad to hear things are looking up. I had something similar yesterday but today nothing which made me think I don't need to call the dr but now after reading that maybe I should? I'm the same in that I hate calling bc I don't want to seem dramatic and I've called about a couple different things recently.

glad to hear everything seems okay!!! FX fluids remain static!!!

My MFM brought me in for an u/s to check fluids at around 15 weeks when I thought I could possibly be leaking. He also prefers to err on the side of caution.

That was me too I was reluctant on calling but glad I did . If you don't call just drink lots and lots of water the more we drink the more the better for them and amneotic fluid they will have is what I understand

Update ! Good news my exotic fluid is up to 11.6 which means the have of an ruptured membrane isn't likely still will be here to monitor fluid to make sure it doesn't go down , hoping to go home Monday
