Flu shot stupid question

Please don't flame me lol.

If I got the flu shot during pregnancy does that mean my baby is good too? I'm watching my nephew today who was up all night throwing up from "a bad batch of shrimp." Which I reallllllly hope is true, because I'm freaking out about him being around my 14 week old.

    Really? I never knew that. I always called that 24 hour stomach bug a flu. Thank you! She should be good if I just don't let him touch her right?!

    If anything your nephew has a stomach bug. Just wash everyones hands and keep them apart for the day.

    Sweet. Thanks. I've become a pretty big germ-a-phone these days. I never used to get shots or freak out when people were sick.

    Agree with the PPs - the flu shot won't help with stomach viruses. Just wash hands a lot - his and yours. And have him keep his distance. Hopefully it is just something he ate and not a virus!
