AW: Finally!!

Sorry to make a whole post about this but I am so excited! After a year of cosleeping, ds is now sleeping on his own room. It became evident that it was time because we were both struggling with sleep. I put it off for the longest time because dh works nights and I liked keeping him close by in case something happened. I am still having a little anxiety but I am able to push through because I know it is for the best. I will definitely miss some things about cosleeping but I am so relieved to have made it this far.

    @JoJo716  How were you able to make the transition? We co-sleep for part of the night but I'd like for him to stay in the crib all night.

    @littledaisies I expected to start very slowly. I figured I would put him down to sleep and then when he woke up, I would bring him back to my room. The first night he work up at midnight. By the second night, he was sleeping through the night. I really think timing was what worked best for us. By the end of it, our cosleeping was not working for either one of us. He would toss and turn and wake himself and me up all throughout the night.
