Feeling Frustrated

Things seems to be on the down hill slope over here. Up till about a week and a half ago LO has been a fabulous sleeper. Sleeping 6-8 hour stretches since about 2 weeks old. Since about a week and a half ago things are getting progressively worse! He is now waking frequently, wanting his binki normally, and then goes back to sleep. But tonight he went to bed at 8:30 I have been up with him 5 times already and just had to feed him (its 1am here)! Idk why the sudden change! We have been on the same schedule since he was 2 weeks old as far as bed time and night schedule. Is anyone else dealing with sleep regression? Is this a 3 month change? I hope my good sleeper returns sooner rather than later! Any advice is appreciated!

Re: Feeling Frustrated

  • I'm with you! 3 months old and absolutely terrible sleeper. Sleeps 3 hours then seriously rustles around the rest if the night so I end up nursing every hour. I am soooooo exhausted and no explanation :/

Leap 3 and a 3 month growth spurt?

Wish I could say that's what it was but this has been going in for months

I think this is a common time for sleep regression between the leap and growth spurt. I think 4 months is another sleep regression...it feels like we will never get back to normal! Heh. DS isn't sleeping as well lately either.

  • Yep,unfortunately baby sleep changes constantly for about the first year. If its not a growth spurt its a developmental spurt, then you'll add in teething. You just have to roll with it.
