I promise....

Not to post obsessively about my pregnancy on social media.
Not to upload every single sonogram/belly picture to facebook.
Not to complain about being pregnant publicly.
To think before I ask someone when they're going to have a baby.
Not to register for superfluous, extravagant, and ridiculously priced baby stuff and complain when no one buys it for me.
To have just one baby shower, as is custom.
Not to bitch about the perils of maternity leave paperwork.
Not to complain anot my baby on Facebook.
To be mindful of those going through IF.
To be grateful for the gift that is a baby.

    7-19-14 Ovidrel trigger w/ scheduled intercourse on 7/19 and 7/20
    7-24-14 pregnancy symptoms started
    7-31-14 pregnancy symptoms increasing
    8-1-14 BFP!!
    8-2-14 BFP!!
    8-3-14 (just to make sure lol) BFP!!
    8-4-14 b/w confirmed!
    8-6-14 b/w still looks good, u/s scheduled for 8/14 and b/w on 8/13

    Beautiful!!

    I agree to those promises, except the maternity leave stuff...I have some pretty strong opinions about our dismal parental leave legislation in the US. :)

    I will never ask someone at work why they're out on FMLA. I had to take it for all my appointments because I work long night shifts and people ask me ALL THE TIME if I'm ok.

    I have also resolved that when I finally get that first BFP I will not make a whole thing about it on FB because I have no idea who else in my feed is having issues and I can't imagine causing someone else to cry the way some of my FB friends have made me.

    And while I dread all the illness of the first tri, I can't imagine being anything buy joyful every single time I have to throw up from morning sickness because it means my wish has finally come true.

    Love this.  I would sign it if it were a contract.

    IUI #1 on 7/3/14 100 mg Clomid + Ovidrel + IUI (44 million sperm, 1 dominant follie) = BFN
    IUI #2: on 7/28/14 100 mg Clomid + Ovidrel + IUI (23 million sperm, 2 dominant follies) = BFN

    IUI #3 on 8/22/2014 100 mg Clomid + Ovidrel + IUI (53 million sperm, 2 dominant follies)= BFP MMC @ 7weeks

    Where do I sign?!
    Me: +35 DH: +35
    TTC: Since January 2013 
    DX: PCOS. Severe Endometriosis, Unicornuate Uterus w/only left tube and left ovary, Pedunculated fibroid (on the outside of uterus) and Anovulation. All conditions diagnosed 8/13
    TX: Metformin
    DH DX: MFI - low morphology, low motility
    Ultrasound shows both kidneys in spite of UU. 
    HSG showed clear tube on the left side. 
    Lap Surgery performed 1/9/14 to remove fibroid and endo (Stage 3)
    • IUI# 1 June 2014 started 100 mg of Clomid - 7dpiui Progesterone: 13: BFN
    • IUI#2  July 2014 started 100 mg of Clomid - 7dpiui Progesterone: 5.75: BFN
    • Natural Cycle - so shocked to be in 2WW - 7dpo Progesterone: 15.5: BFN
    • Working with new RE starting injectables in late August.
    • IUI #3 August 2014  w/ Menopur: BFN
    • Finally ovulating on my own!!
    Waiting to start IVF hopefully

    Nice. I have one promise I can't make, though. SIL has given me unsolicited 'advice' for the past five years, mommy knows best-style. When I have a child of my own I am going to crown myself the new "expert", and enjoy sharing my feelings on the correct methods of child care wth her. :) And I'm totally going to be one of the nervous mothers who thinks grandma is going to drop the kid. :)

    1 cycle Letrozole 7.5 mg + 150 mg Follistim  - no response, repeated Letrozole 7.5 mg + 150 mg Follistim + Ovidrel + IUI = success! 12/2014
