First Period Off The Pill?

Hi All! I am new to this board and am excited to start looking around and reading threads! Here is my question - I took my last BCP 6/3/14 and had my usual period on 6/7/14 - however no signs of AF since then and am on CD33 today. (I was on Yasmin/Yaz/Beyaz x 10 years). Took one HPT Sunday on CD 29 and it was BFN. Just wondering how long it took some of you to get your normal period back after being on the pill? Thanks!

    It can take a while. I stopped taking BC in February. I have had crazy cycles. 29 days, 39 days, and now on CD60.

    My cycle ended up being around 35 days post bcp.

    After my initial withdrawal bleed, it took 6 weeks for AF to return.
    Me: 34 / DH: 33
    19-year history of endometriosis. Multiple surgeries and cyst removals. Forced directly into IVF due to blocked tubes and severe adhesions.
    IVF w/ICSI and CCS #1 - Dec 2013 - Only 1 normal. Ended in CP
    IVF w/ICSI and CCS #2, at CCRM - March 2014!
    14R, 12 ICSI'd, 11F, 6 for CCS, 5 healthy blasts frozen!
    Two 5BB blasts transferred 9/10; First beta 9/19: 109; second beta 9/22: 550!
    EDD: 5/29/15

    Thanks everyone! It is helpful to hear the variety of answers - makes me feel less worried about it. I think I may start temping because what is bugging me most is feeling like there is no point in trying this next month if I don't get a period - but I may not have ovulated at all since going off the pill so I'm thinking that may help.

    I charted my temps for my first post pill period. That is how I knew that I ovulated on day 16. Therefore I knew I could expect my period 10-16 days after that. It came after 10 days. So my cycle was 26 days.
    My TTC History:
    2009: missed miscarriage #1 at 9 weeks (trisomy 16)
    2010: Infertility
    2011: Diagnosis and treatment (low sperm count, anastrozole for DH, clomid for me + IUI)
    2012: Baby #1
    2014: Baby #2
    October 2015: missed miscarriage #2 at 11 weeks (trisomy 22)
    March 2016 BFP#5, due November 2016.

    It's different for everyone. My first cycle after the pill was 34 days. Subsequent cycles were 38, 30 and 43 days. Like PPs mentioned, I definitely recommend temping so you have a better idea of what is going on with your body and when to expect AF and/or when to test.

    BFP #3: 12/13/14--EDD 8/27/15--MMC at 7 weeks (no fetal pole and measuring 1 1/2 weeks behind)--Cytotec 1/9/15

    January 2015: Off to RE for RPL testing

    I took my last pill around mid-August, didn't get my first period at all until early October - so, it was over two months between my withdrawal bleed before my last pack of pills until my next period. It can take our bodies some time to regulate after being on BC.

    June 2013 Testing Results: Progesterone: 31.7, LH: 5, FSH: 5, Estradiol: 161
    Clomid cycles Nov. 2013 and Jan, Feb, and March 2014

    When I stopped it took me 3 months the first time. The second time it took the same but had the doctor prescribe me a medication to jump start my period.

    After my withdrawal bleed, it took 45ish days for AF to come.

    I stopped taking the pill in May. After CD 30 I started temping because I had several patches of EWCM and not knowing what was up was driving me crazy. I finally ovulated on CD 46 and am now on CD 52. But since I know I ovulated I'm not worried. If I hadn't started temping I would be going INSANE right now.

    I also recommend temping. Good luck, and I hope things regulate quickly for you!

    My first period after not reflling my nuva ring was right on time, CD 28. This month it was CD35. So my body is still adjusting to being off BC for 15 years. PMS symptoms were also super heightened, bad cramps, heachache, super emotional crazy person (lucky for those around me)! Thinking about starting to temp this cycle, but I feel like that will take the fun out of it. Still on the fence about it.
