Hello,

I wanted to know about the dept of a convertible crib when the mattress is at its lowest setting.  I am 5'2" and my DH and I are looking to get a convertible crib for the nursery.  It was brought to my attention that maybe I will not be able to reach to put the baby in the crib when the mattress is at the lowest setting since the side will not drop down.  Does anyone one know the approximate dimensions?  TIA

    No way would I have survived with a crib that didn't have a drop side.

    You're fine in the beginning with the matress high and most of the time a toddler will stand to be picked up once the matress is lowered but putting him in out cold asleep at 25 lbs sucked even with a drop rail.  He still thudded down a bit.

     

    Our IF journey: 1 m/c, 1 IVF with only 3 eggs retrieved yielding Dylan and a lost twin, 1 shocker unmedicated BFP resulting in Jace, 3 more unmedicated pregnancies ending in more losses.
    Total score: 6 pregnancies, 5 losses, 2 amazing blessings that I'm thankful for every single day.
