So I'm probably one of the last ones
and I'm really down to the wire about putting some effort into Lo's birthday party this Sunday. We have a pool and we are doing a big outdoor party and I decided on a rock and roll theme simply because I have a million records I am trying to unload. So I've made a cool banner and made bowls out of melted records but I don't exactly have a party favor. I cut blank cardboard records and I have a turntable I am setting up so the kids can do spin art. I'm thinking of writing "thanks for coming, you rock!" On the edge of the record and calling it a day. That and everyone gets a helium balloon. We have lots of 2-6 year old kids so it's mainly for them. I am just sick of getting/buying 50 cent oriental trading company crap but can't decide if it's mandatory!
That was long, sorry. DH is sick of hearing about anything party related

tell me if you think I need another party favor!
Re: Birthday party favor question
I thought the spin art idea was fun, but I think DH is right when he says everyone will be in the pool the whole time and not feeling artsy craftsy. Oh well, I will at least make one for myself then!
