Unless I hold her or put her in her swing this girl is not napping. And ILs are visiting so I can't out her in the swing because it's in the family room and they will never let her fall asleep. Le sigh...
Leap 3 + the growth spurt are wrecking our lives as well. DS doesn't nap anyways, but is refusing to sleep at all now, screams all day and instead of nursing hourly is on my boobs 3x an hour...it's insane. Hang in there mama, it sucks, I'm sorry.

I thought about mocking it into the office. That is the only room downstairs that is not open to everything else. I can't move it upstairs without taking it apart and that's not happening!
Leap 3 was horrible for DS. Getting him to sleep for a nap or at night was sooo hard. But don't worry...leap 3 is over and he is back to 2 hour naps and sleeping 9 hours straight at night!
I have no clue when leaps and growth spurts are bc little man is a crappy napper and night time sleeper all the time. He is 3 mos and 17lb already and still wants to eat (formula) every3-4 at night. This kid is just always hungry. Sigh. Get some loud white noise and move the swing! Good luck!
@Katy0525 - so glad to see that and hoping that is true for LO as well. All she wants to do is be attached to me and/or my boobs and I go back to work Monday. I am praying she is back to normal by then.
@Starfish+77 - my DS was the same way. He woke up at night for months and was such a big baby, but he eventually grew out of it and became an awesome sleeper.
Thanks that is encouraging. I feel like the MOTN feedings are never ending. I'm too old for this :-) and I'm back to work soon too. Hope all goes well when you return to work! I'm starting to think it will be a good thing for me.
@Starfish+77 - I am 42 this time and keep telling DH I am too old for this too. Thank you and I hope it goes well for you too. In some ways I am looking forward to it, but I am really nervous about how it will go. It sucked when I went back after DS but everything turned out OK so I just keep telling myself that it will be alright.

You keep posting about how awful your DS sleeps and OMG he wants to eat at night. Every time we all tell you it's normal and he's doing fine. I think you have unrealistic expectations, truly.
This. You have described similar patterns to DD but I know it's completely normal because they're so young still. You constantly describe him as being a crappy/shitty sleeper, which I don't think is fair. Like lala said, you have extremely unrealistic expectations of your little guy STTN so soon.

ALL of this. You have posted several times about his sleep habits and are constantly told that what you are describing is completely normal at this time. Our babies are still young and anyone who is getting their child to STTN (me included) is LUCKY! You can't always expect your kids to do what you want them to do, or grow at a pace that you want them to. You absolutely have your expectations set too high. You are in for a world of hurt if you can't come back down to reality.
