Hold me! Ouch!

I just sliced the shit out of my thumb while grating potatoes. I called DH to come home since he was leaving soon anyway and I feel like I'm going to puke and/or pass out. I don't think I need stitches but fuck! Fucking ow! No more grating for me ever. Fuck graters!

    Ouch! I've done this too. It's the main reason why I bought the attachment for my Kitchen Aid.

    I used to have a grater on my old food processor but I got a ninja instead. It doesn't grate. I tried one potato in it and it was just tiny pieces, so I got out the effin handheld thing. Never again.

    Yep done that with apples. You may want to get it looked at as there is a small window wen they can stitch if it needs it (6hrs I think?).

    DH is bringing home a kit to stitch it if necessary. I almost would rather someone else do it. I'm afraid he won't be gentle! It doesn't look bad at all. Hurts like an mfer, though. I'll see what he says.

    Ouch!! So sorry, that sucks. I have sliced my thumb before and probably needed stitches but decided to tough it out. At that moment, I would rather bleed out in my kitchen than take all 3 kids to Urgent Care with me. I hope it's better now!!!

    No stitches! I said forget that dinner and we went out. I had a big margarita, which helped! I still feel a little queasy. I think it's just from the scare, but DH was a little queasy last night so it could be a mild virus or something. Now I just have to deal with a sore thumb for a few days. That always blows because little things like washing hair and changing diapers are much harder.
