Any one else diagnosed with gastroschisis?

I was diagnosed and have done huge issues now about feeling bad or like a bad mom :(

Re: Any one else diagnosed with gastroschisis?

  • I'm sorry for the scary diagnosis. It in no way makes you a bad mom!! You are going to be such a strong and loving mom helping your little one through his or her treatment!

No experience but T&Ps for you for a safe pregnancy and for an easy treatment and healing process for baby.

One of the friends I made while on mat leave last time had a daughter with gastroschisis.  She posts often on Facebook about a page called Avery's Angels, that might be a good resource for you.

Her daughter is now a thriving and adorable 2 year old.

  • No experience but I echo all the other PP's you are not a bad mom! Sorry you are dealing with this.
