Here are some things that are happening:

- I have my first PP period, and I want to sleep, cry, hurt people and eat things, not necessarily in that order. Also, I am so out of practice w/r/t periods, that I'm all, i don't know what to do with my hands gif.

- My boss is out of town on vacation, so I have basically no motivation to do anything, and plan to leave work super early.

- I have been trying to make a grocery list for about 2 hours now. The list reads: tacos. milk. butter? tampons.

- Our secretary, whom I normally love, has decided to play Beatles songs on her computer and sing along. #howaboutno

OMG, free food is the. best. Also, I like pizza AND a salad b/c then you can convince yourself you've had a well-balanced meal with vegetables. Even if your salad is, like, lettuce and ranch dressing.

Let's say I breastfeed for 1 year and take 3 months maternity leave. If I work 7 days on, 7 days off for 9 months, pumping a total of 1 hour per day, times theoretical 3 kids, then I will pump for approximately 420 hours in my lifetime. 17.5 days.

I hosted a baby playdate today with some new IRL friends! This is exciting for me because I do not have that many irl friends and none with babies that live anywhere near me. I met some women at a baby and me storytime at the library that we've all been going to for the last couple months. The library stopped the storytime for the summer so we've been meeting at each other's houses on wednesday. There were 6 babies including mine and we made good use of the new playroom! yay!

Today is my 7 year work anniversary. I just want to go out and eat something delicious for lunch, even though I brought lunch from home. But instead I'm stuck in a 2 hour meeting from 12-2. How am I supposed to bump when I'm supposed to be paying attention?

I know. It was pretty upsetting. But then I thought maybe there are little baby foxes that need to be fed. Its that time of year. My dog is out there now protecting all the bunnies. They don't even run away from her now in the back yard.

I took a detour to McD's on the way to work to let my car run a little longer since it didn't want to turn over this morning. I got breakfast and a yogurt parfait to eat after pumping. Why are you so tiny, delicious yogurt and fruit parfait??

I love the yogurt parfaits for mcds!

My dog just vomited all over my stairs. Lit-rally one of the only places in my house with carpet. Oh and wolfhound puke is no joke. My first thought, "I have to tell everyone on the bump!!!!"

LO said NO to sleep last night. This morning DH couldn't find his shoe. Turns out he chucked it at a noisy cat sometime in the middle of the night when it kept tearing around the hall going all BSC like cats do in the middle of the night.

DH has no recollection of throwing his shoe, he just pieced the events together when he finally found it at the bottom of the stairs.

Also, LO is currently laying on the floor with a big pile of puffs just out of reach in my feeble attempts to motivate her to crawl. She keeps freaking out when she can't reach them so occasionally I'll flick one at her to eat. She's like my little pet.

Too tired to parent correctly.

Also, they may be releasing my sister today, with nephew still in utero. I dont like it.

I feel you. The only thing saving our bed sharing is FI prefers to sleep in the living room with the A/C but even still CJ sleeps half the night in his crib because he won't settle in the big bed unless he is half asleep.

I have no idea. Every time he gets more and more independent, I think of the day when he doesn't want to give me wet, slobbery kisses anymore. I love when he tries to eat me. Oh man, I feel my temperature rising! #babyfever

Hmmm, what else do I have to contribute other than my sappy emotional, pre-menstrual comments? I got invited out by a few cousins of mine, which is very unusual considering they've never invited me anywhere and a small part of me has always felt left out. They're having a fire on Friday, which we probably can't make but they're also going to the beach on Saturday which sounds like a 75% chance of working

It'll be nice to form a bond because that side of the family hangs out a lot and I'm just a lonely SAHM.

omg wtf is with me today? Do I need to go cry in a dark corner or something??
