Short version....went in Monday for induction. Water broken at 6:45 am, was 2 cm dialated. Got epidural around 9:30. Started pushing around 12:45, Jacob born at 1:03. Only took 4 series of pushes even though I was totally & completely numb and couldn't feel a thing. He probably would have been born sooner, but they turned the pit down because y OB went into surgery and I was progressing faster than they thought. Overall, a very quick and easy delivery. Just a slight tear....only required 2 stitches, so recovery hasn't been bad either. The worst thing was the cramps afterwards....BFing makes them worse, but they've subsided now.

Came home later yesterday afternoon. Jake's nursing like a champ...much better than my last. Nips a sore, but lanolin & double checking his latch is helping a lot.
