DOH - MIL related

I just got off the phone with my MIL, who was with us for 7 days last week. In saying our goodbyes, I said "it was nice having you here, I wish it could have been for longer" (since our trip to Yosemite was only for one night, and I really would have liked to have the whole long weekend there... and because it's nice having her here). And she goes "well, it was long enough for me" and then laughed. DOH. I'm not sure how to take that.

My jaw would have been in my lap too... but I'm with Katie, prolly more about being worn out from the kiddos.

Heck - I'm even worn out by my son. I'm not surprised when others are.

good point. ryan was in top form for her visit too, and not in a good way. take a kid who doesn't do well with the unexpected and add Christmas commotion, and it's not pretty
