How far along are you? When are you due? 16 weeks, due 12/18/14
How has this pregnancy been different from before? I've had a really hard time thinking that it's a real thing. I'm also way more emotional/weepy/sad and I can't always pinpoint what it is. It's usually triggered by DH traveling, but he traveled a lot in the last pregnancy too. So...who knows? Also I've had basically no nausea. Last time, I was nauseous around 7-8pm every night for the entire first trimester.
News/Appointments/etc.? My appointments have been pretty disappointing this time around. It seems like they don't care much because I'm having my 2nd so close to the 1st, so they aren't putting as much effort into it. My NT scan pictures were blurry and the baby was not cooperating enough for them to even get any information from it. My last appointment, the doctor got a heartbeat for a little while (he made me laugh and the baby moved), but not long enough to record the bpm, so he was like, 'eh, seems like about 150.' AS isn't until 7/31, so I'm hoping that is a lot better.
How crazy is your new BMB? It's settled down a bit, but they were up in arms about people posting ultrasound profiles and asking about gender (instead of sex). It was entertaining.
ETA: This time is also very different because I have NO idea what size fruit or vegetable this one is, and I have a hard time remembering how many weeks along I am. I'm way too busy running around (literally) with DS to be consumed the way I was last time.
How has this pregnancy been different from before? symptoms a lot quicker- I've been experiencing morning sickness and RLP for the last 1.5 weeks already.
News/Appointments/etc.? I have my 1st appt. on the 15th, and will do a u/s in office. Super excited to see jellybean #2 for the first time!!
How crazy is your new BMB? Not that crazy yet. Everyone seems to be pretty reasonable.
How far along are you? When are you due? I am 33 weeks. I'm due August 27. Eek. It is getting close.
How has this pregnancy been different from before? Actually, it has been oddly similar which is why we suspected we were having another girl, which we are. The only difference is that I'm exhsusted some days from wrangling my crazy toddler.
News/Appointments/etc.? My pregnancy has been pretty smooth. I did have a low placenta got awhile which required extra ultrasounds. The placenta is now in its normal spot, so I'm thankful for that. I'm on 2 week appointments now. Our growth scan will be at the end of the month (36 weeks).
How crazy is your new BMB?
I've only lurked. It seems okay though. I'm not sure if I will participate.
How far along are you? When are you due? 17 weeks today, due 12/16/14 (hoping LO comes 3 days early for a bday of 12/13/14 though)
How has this pregnancy been different from before? This pregnancy has been totally different! No MS ever and overall just feeling awesome, though most days I forget I'm even pregnant
News/Appointments/etc.? Had my anatomy scan yesterday, baby boy #2 on the way! Have a follow up u/s in 3 weeks to double check a few measurements. Made sure it was scheduled before my hubby leaves on deployment again.
How crazy is your new BMB? I was pretty active on D14 until it got ugly and I backed away. Things seem to have calmed back down though so I think after I get back from FL next week I'll join back in over there.
How far along are you? When are you due? 24 weeks, due 10/26How has this pregnancy been different from before? Totally different. I actually threw up this time instead of just gagging. We had a scare at the A/S and chose to do some genetic testing to rule out Down Syndrome. So now I'm seeing a high risk doc to continue watching DD's kidneys.News/Appointments/etc.? I guess I went into this above, but I go back to the specialist at the end of the month so I get to see her again. How crazy is your new BMB? They aren't BSC, but they are quick to judge and call people out. In general I just don't feel like I belong since the questions are really for newbies.
Things make me sick way more easily. Last time I had no nauseousness and this time I thought I was getting some, but turns out it was just from my one cup of coffee and creamer in the morning. My bagel betrayed me and I threw it up. Cream chese, oh how I miss thee! I'm also way more emotional. I read a happy status about Father's Day and burst out in tears cuz it was just so sweet, gahhhh I don't have time for that! Lol
As for news/apts, nothing to report. It's boring until the ultrasound with my dr. Speaking of which, my first one was at 8 weeks so my pics are just of a blob, no arms or legs. Or even a head lol so I was kinda disappointed. The next one is at 24 weeks
And I have no idea. Jan 2015, I think I've been on maybe three times. Just long enough to read a few titles. All the questions I know how to answer have been answered 20 times before and the rest is just gtky or random topics I don't really have time to care about. With our first pregnancy I had a job that was me sitting at a desk waiting for something to do. I had plenty of time to chat it up with online mommies. If my kid weren't as awesome as he is, I'd probably miss it more
I am still in denial and I haven't made a dr appt yet. I am most likely switching doctors cause of insurance and need to research a little so I've been slow.
I have only lurked on the new BMB. They seem okay, I'll probably join in a little over there after I go to the dr. It jut doesn't feel real yet.
How far along are you? When are you due? 15 weeks today! Due 12/30
How has this pregnancy been different from before? Not a single symptom! It worries me but I won't complain. I had MS and sore boobs and exhaustion and aches with X.
News/Appointments/etc.? Nothing exciting. I had my monthly check up last week. I get an extra growth scan at 36 weeks he told me. Normally its just the NT and anatomy but when you have a 10 lb first baby he throws in a growth scan in the future!! So there is one benefit to delivering my giant baby. Also haven't gained any weight yet and with my first I was up 15 pounds by this point!!
How crazy is your new BMB? D14. Woo Woo! I barely go on there. If I do, I stay away from anything that seems filled with drama. I can't deal with that.
How far along are you? When are you due? 26 weeks. Due 10/13.
How has this pregnancy been different from before? The biggest difference is how tired I am but that could be from toddler wrangling. Also, I had 5 straight weeks of morning sickness this time around whereas I had absolutely none with DD. Its how I figured out that I must be having a boy aaand I was right!
News/Appointments/etc.? No news. Next appointment is just a regular check up and DD's getting her one year shots.
How crazy is your new BMB? To be honest, its fairly mellow. There's snark of course but no crazy ridiculous drama. I like it.
How far along are you? When are you due? Almost 28 weeks. Due 10/3
How has this pregnancy been different from before? It is EXACTLY the same. I mean, as far as symptoms and weight gain - it is identical. The "fun" difference is all of those lovely comments I get from strangers about how close my kids will be together. Gee, thanks random lady in the super market... because I had not already figured that out.
News/Appointments/etc.? I have an appointment in a week. I think this is the glucose test and everything - so that will be awesome. I had a biopsy last appointment and it came back no cancer - so we are making a post-pregnancy plan as well to remove a whole slew of abnormal cells.
How crazy is your new BMB? I don't really know. I am not super active over there. It is a lot of repetition. I don't know how the second time moms put up with me as a first time mom over here !
I am getting baddd baby fever reading this thread!
Ditto.
